In a follow up to our earlier posting concerning support for the idea of a pre season friendly for Lee Rigby and Help for Heroes charity. As of 29/05/13:

@castrust achieved 110 retweets reaching a 35,000 twitter audience - this represents ten times what a normal tweet ours might get, and may give an idea of the popularity for the idea.

The posting on popular forum Charlton Life received 5.8K views and 179 postings.

So a fair bit of support but is it enough?

We have made representations to the club, and they are keen to do the most appropriate thing in the situation.

We will update more when able, but a suggestion is that to gauge Fan support for the idea would require the club to contact fans and we will be mentioning this to them.
