Andrews Still Backing Addicks

Andrews-Sykes Charlton shirt sponsors for the last 2 years, are still backing the club in a number of ways

Despite making way for new sponsor University of Greenwich, many fans will have seen their logo on the back of the new Charlton shirt. As well as the financial benefits to the club, the involvement of locally based air con business and Greenwich Borough based Education establishment, as well as the work of the Community Trust CACT (whom Andrews will also continue a strong relationship with), mean Charlton's links to the local community are stronger than ever - and might come as a surprise for anyone expecting a different approach with the clubs new continentally focussed Belgian influence.   Andrews have offered a competition to celebrate the continuation of their involvement with the club and fans can win a shirt.

Paul Wood MD of Andrews Sykes Said:

During our two successful years as the main shirt sponsor, Andrews Sykes worked very closely with the commercial team at Charlton to create a bespoke partnership which delivers the required results for both parties.  Although the branding on the front of the shirt is the most visible aspect of the sponsorship, it is only a small part of the entire agreement.  Andrews Sykes have attended every home and away game throughout the last two years and offer our customers corporate hospitality within the West stand executive box for home games and for away games within the board room.

Other components of the sponsorship deal have included training ground visits, stadium branding, programme advertising, sponsorship of the Charlton Athletic Community Trust including the concert at the IndigO2 and many more.  Andrews Sykes also support the club in many other ways, we provide and maintain all of the air conditioning and heating systems, throughout The Valley and Sparrows Lane. We also regularly provided other equipment for use in the stadium and other facilities.

When it was time to introduce a new shirt front sponsor, the club was keen for us to continue with our relationship and we were very pleased to be able to continue with our commercial partnership for another two seasons.  Effectively, not much will change, we will continue to attend every game and work closely with the club.  In fact, the only difference is that our branding will appear on the back of the shirts instead of the front.

Over the course of the last two years, we have been able to work closely with the Charlton supporters and will continue to do so, with competitions and by supporting events and activities.  Having been an Addicks supporter  for over 45 years, I look forward to the new season and continuing our work with the supporters trust and other supporters groups throughout the next two seasons.

We are also very pleased to continue our relationship with Andrews-Sykes and indeed look forward to building something similar with University of Greenwich if possible.
