CAS Trust member Steve Bridge talks about his soon to be released photo book, featuring Charlton pictures throughout the years:
My hardback A4 sized landscape book with 100 pages is being produced in a limited edition print run to meet advance orders only due to the fine margins of cost.
This book has been long in the taking - forty years in fact! From my first snap of The Valley as a twenty year old in 1975 with a Halina compact camera, and Canons Ftb, AE1, EOS in-between, to my last pictures - taken on the first day of the season in August 2015 on my carry-round Canon S95.
I have been around Charlton Athletic Football Club with a camera on and off during four decades of our 110 year history. Although I was a club photographer for ten years between 1994 and 2004, I mainly covered the Charlton youth team. I was however on hand for a variety of prominent times in Charlton's history, in what is my personal take on it.
Many may not have heard of me, but some may have seen pictures posted by me on social media last year. I am very pleased with my creation and hope that other Charlton supporters would like to own this book.
It is available to order for £20 plus £3.50 p&p. My cut off date for advance orders will be the 10th October and it will be sent out in late autumn - a nice present for Christmas.
