A group of Charlton supporters organised by CARD (The Coalition Against Roland Duchatelet) conducted a picket of a sponsors' event outside the Sparrows Lane training ground and at The Valley today.

The purpose was to inform prospective club sponsors that, as a result of the downward spiral of Charlton Athletic's reputation, continued sponsorship would be likely to damage the image of their company.

We understand that of fifteen companies invited only five attended the event and that two of these did so purely to express their own concerns about the mismanagement of the club.
