As part of the annual Charlton & Woolwich Free Film festival there will be a showing of "Ha'way the Lads" - a 1976 Thames TV drama documentary about the early years of Jimmy Seed, directed by Frank Cvitanovich - on Monday 11th September.
The film stars John Bowler as Seed and it covers the years 1902 - 1919.
The film starts at 8pm but doors will be open from 6.45pm. Entry is free but the hat will be passed round for contributions towards the Charlton museum who have organised the event. There will only be be room for forty people on a first come first served basis.
After the film there will be a question and answer session with Jimmy Seed's grandson who is a CAS Trust member.
A splendid time is guaranteed for all!
