Charlton Kids’ Shirt Giveaway

Australia-based Charlton fan Lee Fender has kicked off an initiative to raise funds to purchase childrens shirts to be given away as Christmas presents. Thomas Sandgaard has offered to match whatever amount is raised.

"@LeeFender4 this is an incredible gesture and I would like to join you in supporting our #cafckids by matching all donations that you receive for your Charlton Kids Shirt Giveaway. #CharltonChristmas #SeaOfRed"

Lee has asked Charlton fans to donate £2 (or more if you so wish) towards the cost of shirts. He has made arrangements with Charlton Athletic Community Trust to ensure that shirts are distributed to kids in need.

He has also made arrangements with Debbie Cross in the club shop who will oversee the ordering process. Thomas Sandgaard's staff are currently liaising with Hummel about price and availability.

Donations can be made by PayPal to:

debbiecross22@yahoo.co.uk (please do it as a friend's family gift to reduce the cut they take).

Or by bank transfer to:

For anyone who doesn't know Lee Fender he has received a number of commendations from long-standing Charlton fans. There are no doubts about the legitimacy of this initiative.
