Bradley Pritchard: the mental pressures of professional football

CAST member Kyle Andrews is creating a series of podcasts ("The Mental Well-Balling Podcast") on the subject of football and mental health.

In this excellent opening episode Bradley Pritchard talks with great insight about the pressures of the game, how he felt when trying to get established as a professional and arriving in the Charlton squad in his mid twenties. He describes the programme he now runs for Charlton Academy players to help them deal with the pressure and become rounded and grounded individuals.

"Who I was... my identity was going to be defined by whether we won or lost, whether I played well or not"

Next week's episode is an interview with Johnnie Jackson.
