Thomas Sandgaard requests patience

CAST has written to Charlton owner, Thomas Sandgaard, asking for clarity on the manager's position and the structure of the footballing side at the club.

Our letter made it clear how much fans enjoyed the 'Fill the Valley' day on Saturday and that the great matchday experience that we all enjoyed will be powerful in encouraging people to come again.

We highlighted that Johnnie Jackson and Jason Euell enjoy the full support of the fan base.

Over the course of the last few days the media have carried reports on various aspects of the footballing side of the club, including other candidates for the manager's position and the appointment of Martin Sandgaard to an unspecified role.

In the interests of keeping the forward momentum that we have enjoyed over the last few games and particularly on Saturday, we have asked Thomas to give the fans a more complete picture of his current thinking and future plans.

Thomas has since been in touch in response to our letter and requests that fans remain patient for a little longer, assuring us that he is focussed on the best interests of the club.
