The final part of the celebrations to mark the thirtieth anniversary of Charlton Athletic's return to The Valley is to be a mural which will provide a permanent legacy of the phenomenal achievement of fans and directors which ensured that the club could come back to its rightful home.
CAST has taken up the baton from The Back to The Valley 30 Committee and has commissioned an artist who is currently working on draft designs. CAST will also be leading on raising the funds for the project.
It has been agreed with the club that the wall next to the players' entrance would be the most suitable site. We hope it will serve as a inspiring reminder to fans, players and visitors as they enter the stadium.
Further details to follow shortly.
