ACV 100% record continues

This morning Charlton Athletic Supporters Trust welcomes the news that Old Trafford has been designated an Asset of Community Value (ACV). This is in line with movement which is taking place across England to recognise our football stadia as the assets to their local community that they are.

Local authorities across the country are acknowledging football stadia and the benefits they bring to their community with Old Trafford continuing the 100% success rate of stadia nominated receiving ACV status, joining Oxford United and Nuneaton Borough in giving their supporters forewarning and the opportunity to organise themselves should the owners of their teams stadium wish to sell the ground – this is something we hope to secure for Addicks.

Our own application to the Royal Borough of Greenwich council to designate the Valley as an asset of the community has been lodged but we still need your support – please sign the petition if you have not done so already - https://www.castrust.org/petition-valley-acv-campaign/.

A decision regarding the application to recognise Anfield as an ACV is due soon and of course we will update as soon as we have any news on that decision.
