Charlton play their 2nd home match this week and 3rd in two weeks, looking for another clean sheet and another win against 2nd placed Burnley
This is certainly time for new Manager Riga to show his mettle after inheriting the relegation threatened side from Chris Powell.
The bottom of the table looks like this
Position Played GD Points
18. Blackpool 36 -21 48
19. Birmingham 36 -8 37
20. Doncaster 36 -22 37
21. Charlton 33 -16 32
-----------
22. Millwall 36 -30 32
23. Yeovil 36 -22 30
24. Barnsley 35 -31 29
Charlton sit just above Millwall on superior goal difference, but can only put space between themselves and 22nd, with next placed Doncaster 5 points ahead.
Millwall play Leeds away tomorrow, Yeovil play Bolton at home, Barnsley play Bournemouth at home (come on Yann!), while Doncaster play Wednesday at home. Finally Birmingham are at home to Reading.
With some tough fixtures ahead and a real pile up occurring Charlton must get at least it point it would seem.
