The FIFA 2014 World Cup begins on Thursday with the opening match Brazil vs Croatia. England's first match is against Italy and is late on Saturday at 11pm live on BBC TV. Ivory Coast vs Japan kicks off at an eye reddening 2am on Sunday morning.
