George Tucudean is Network No.7 / Parzyszek departs for STTV
Charlton today added Romanian Front Man George Tucudean
The player still having a year on his contract arrived via Charlton's sister network club. His playing career with Standard was short lived though when he was purchased and then loaned back to Romanian club Dinamo Bucharesti after an apparently unsuccessful spell of 11 games. He then went on to score 7 in 22 appearances in the Romanian top flight.
Fan opinion seems mixed on the Forums, however he is clearly rated by the Network given the 3 year deal Charlton have given him, of course he could be loaned back to Bucharesti or elsewhere if things don't work out - much like Charlton's January signing Piotr Parzyszek who is reported to have been signed out on loan to Network club STTV.
Football fans will of course not need to be reminded that sometimes things just don't work out for players at one club, and do at the next - remembering our Gallic talisman of recent years: Yan Kermorgant. Let's hope so in George's case and we wish him and all the other new players best of luck for the coming season.
It is unclear if this will be the last signing for Bob Peeters this Summer.
