Goal keeper Stephen Henderson was Bob Peeters latest signing yesterday as Charlton added more Championship experience to their defence bringing the total to 8 senior incoming players
The 6'2 Irish U21 international signed up for 3 years for Charlton after having his Upton park deal ended a year early - we assume so he could join Charlton, and perhaps some connection to the Poyet move the other way, who knows?
He signed for West Ham from Portsmouth on a three year deal after a brief loan spell. He failed however to break into the first team at The Boleyn and was loaned to Bournemouth, and Ipswich making a total of 26 appearances over the last 2 years.
Prior to his spell at Fratton Park, he spent time at Yeovil with Addicks Keeping Coach Ben Roberts - perhaps providing the recommendation required for the move.
