Zut! Or possibly, Merde! Looks like a debacle, and Standard lie 12th in the 16 team league. We will ask our Belgian friends for reactions.

 Agrupación Deportiva Alcorcón, Spain  Segunda (2nd) Division Alcorcon - Real Valladolid  0-1. Att. 2,000
 Valladolid were relegated from the top tier so presumably will be  a strong team this season. Alcorcon are 8th after 4 games. A Charlton Life member “CharltonMadrid” reports on the game, which was live on TV,  in this thread.

Újpest FC, Hungary  NB 1 (1st Division) Videoton - Ujpest: 2-0. Att. N/a  
After winning 13-0 ( really) in the Cup on Tuesday, Ujpest could not score one against the runaway league leaders. Loic Nego came on as sub on 78 minutes. Ujpest are in 6th place after 7 games, but are already 11 points behind Videoton.

Who scored the winner? Yes, Polish Pete on 77 mins after he replaced Anil Koc at half time. STVV are handily placed in 3rd, with a game in hand on the two above
