Charlton fans hoping to make the short trip west on Good Friday to our traditional local derby have been disappointed this week when they learnt that Millwall unceremoniously cut the away fans' ticket allocation, citing security reasons.
Combined with the news that the remaining allocation has now sold out, many have been left frustrated.
The Supporters' Trust spoke to Mick Everett, Head of Matchday Operations, on Friday who confirmed they were in touch with The New Den about how these concerns could be addressed allowing more tickets to go on sale. The Club is hoping to have more news by the middle of the coming week.
The Trust shares the frustration over Millwall's actions and supports Charlton's efforts to resolve matters.
