Labour calls for flexible train tickets for fans

Labour Party deputy leader Tom Watson has called for greater flexibility for train tickets when kick-off dates and times are changed at short notice for TV schedules.

In an article in The Independent published on the eve of the new season he argued that travelling fans should not simply be seen as "collateral damage" of changed times:
