We are delighted to announce that, by the end of the nominations window last week, three members had been nominated as candidates for the CAS Trust board.

They are: Barnie Razzel, John Barnes and Ryan Jemmett.

As there will be four available places on the board there will be no requirement for a competitive ballot. Instead, in accordance with our rules, there will be an affirmative ballot at the AGM. Each candidate will need to secure support from 51% of those present at the meeting.

Jim Dutton has decided that, due to the workload involved in researching his forthcoming book about Jimmy Seed, he will not pursue election as a board member. He has therefore terminated his period of co-option to the board and we thank him for his valued input during the last few months.

We are currently making arrangements for our AGM and we will publicise the details as soon as we have them.
