Our guest speaker is Ashley Brown who was Chair of Portsmouth FC when it was run by Pompey Supporters Trust between 2013 and 2017. He will be able to share his experience of the reality of owning a football club and his knowledge of how the EFL functions. Ashley is currently chief executive of Supporters Direct. We will be reporting back on our meeting (earlier on Wednesday) with John Nagle - Head of Policy at the EFL.
The CAST board will also present the annual report and accounts to members and an affirmative ballot will be held to elect the board for 2018/19.
