Charlton Museum: Football and War – Tuesday 6th August

The Charlton Athletic Museum is hosting a football and war event next Tuesday. The itinerary is as follows:

The museum will be open from 3pm - 6pm for visitors (the entrance is next to The East Stand turnstiles on Harvey Gardens)

6pm - 6.15pm: Dedication of new memorial to Normandy hero and Addick Geoff Reynolds.

6.15pm - 7.30pm: Conducted wartime "Blitz" walk from The Valley to The White Swan in Charlton Village.

7.45pm - 8.15pm: Ben Hayes - "Charlton's Normandy hero - Geoff Reynolds"

8.30pm - 9pm: Steve Hunniset -"The life and Loss of Jim McKenzie (Charlton Pioneer)"

9.15pm - 9.45pm: Clive Harris - "CAFC and the Great War"

9.45pm - 10pm: Final questions and closing address
