Alcohol & Football – Your thoughts needed

CAST is looking for SIX volunteers to take part in a survey entitled ‘Alcohol and Football’, aimed at understanding the role of alcohol consumption in football cultures.

Researchers from the University of Loughborough are looking for groups of football fans who regularly watch matches and we are assisting the FSA (Football Supporters’ Association) who are behind this project.

We would like to invite you to a discussion about the relationship between alcohol and football, and what role alcohol plays for those who watch or attend football matches in England.

We are after a random selection of fans.  It doesn’t matter whether you drink before, after games, or not on match days at all.  Or indeed if you are a non-drinker.

We will be asking you to attend a meeting lasting about an hour, which will be before kick off of a forthcoming home fixture.  (We do appreciate we may need to work around the current list of unconventional kick off times, with Sky TV suddenly taking a keen interest in Charlton.)
