We are greatly encouraged by the sentiments expressed by Chairman Matt Southall that "the true spirit of this football club rests with the fans" and that the priority will be to "make contact with fan groups in order that their views play a major role in the club going forward"
Charlton supporters have a wealth of knowledge, skill and good will ready to be tapped, and the new owners have a glorious opportunity to re-establish Charlton's reputation as a stable but ambitious club which values its supporters and which is rooted in its community.
