Safe standing across English football has come a step closer after a report by The Sports Ground Safety Authority (SGSA) found it had “a positive impact on spectator safety”.
The Guardian's Paul MacInnes reports that:
"The SGSA’s research will now continue until the end of the season. Should the final report prove positive, it could pave the way to the return of safe standing by the 2021-22 season."
