In Episode 7 of The Mental Well-Balling Podcast Kyle Andrews interviews former CAFC Academy scholar Luca Albon who was informed last year that he was not going to be offered a professional contract. Luca reflects on what he learned during his time at the club,  how he maintained his mental well-being and how the club handled informing him that he would not be offered a contract.

"I think you can prepare, definitely, but it is virtually impossible to have the feelings and emotions you go through of not being offered a professional contract. You can't relate to it unless you've gone through it"

But, he remains optimistic:

"I still truly believe that I can have a career in football"
