Charlton owner Thomas Sandgaard said:

“As a club, it is important for us to support our local community and Greenwich Foodbank is doing an excellent job supporting those most in need. The club has been working with the Supporters’ Trust on the Foodbank initiative since 2018. This year, we’ll be running the initiative for our #FillTheValley games against Ipswich Town and Cambridge United, so hopefully, with more fans in the stadium than previous years, we’ll be able to collect more food than ever before.”
