CAFC Women – no goals conceded since November

Our women's team are back in action at The Oakwood this Sunday against Watford (2pm) and Karen Hills's team could find themselves in second place in The FA Women's Championship if they win the game. As we beat Watford 5-0 away six weeks ago in a cup game we should be confident of all three points on Sunday.

Although catching Liverpool for the single promotion place remains a tall order there is still also The Women's FA Cup to compete for and our women will host Everton for their fifth round tie on 27th February. Everton are in ninth place in The Women's Super League so the game will be a stern test.

The women have not conceded a goal for seven games - nearly eleven hours of football !
