London Football Scene launched a campaign last month urging all the Capital’s clubs, players and fans to raise as much money as possible for British-Ukrainian Aid (registered charity No. 1164472).
Under the banner of ‘London Football Unites for Ukraine’ we have so far raised over £2k but aim for one big push before the end of the season.
Charlton Athletic have very kindly given us permission to bucket collect ahead of tomorrow’s game with a team of volunteers meeting at Sam Bartram’s statue by the main stand at 12:30pm.
From there we will try to cover as many of the key areas of the ground as possible ahead of kick-off.
In terms of the day, if anyone does want to volunteer, please feel free to drop me an email – blake@londonfootballscene.co.uk or message me on 07730 281 668. Ideally it would be great to know prior to the day to ensure there are enough buckets readily available.
