The celebrated 2002 film, Bend it Like Beckham, is being shown at The Valley on Thursday 15th September as part of a special event run in conjunction between Charlton Athletic Community Trust and the annual Charlton and Woolwich Film Festival.

Doors will open from 5.30pm onwards with the film being shown at 6.30pm, followed by a panel discussion featuring Year of The Robin author, Jen Offord and the club's HG2 ambassador, Tash Everitt amongst others.

This is a ticket only event but there will be a limited number of tickets available for public distribution.

This is the first time the club and the film festival have collaborated on an event such as this.
