CAST welcomes Sam

At the CAST AGM on November 16th Sam White was elected to the board by affirmative vote.

Sam is based in Bromley and has been a Charlton supporter for as long as he can remember. He is conscious that younger fans do not tend to be involved in supporter organisations so he is determined to add a positive influence to CAST when it comes to issues that affect the club and its fanbase, particularly the younger generation – one that is often "forgotten or not loud enough."

Best memory: "The protest time period showing how close we are as a fanbase. I never got to witness or join in on Back To The Valley days- so the 2016 protests gave the younger generations a bit of a ‘I was there when!’ "

Worst memory: "Being relegated from the championship, 2020! Having rallied so well over the Covid period, to have been relegated having seen the top 3 side Brentford capitulate late on … Heartbreaking! "

Favourite players: "Initially being Shaun Bartlett & Luke Young, but as time went by Darren Bent and Yann Kermorgant!”

We welcome Sam to the board and look forward very much to working with him.
