It was less than a month ago that Bristol City Women came to The Oakwood as Championship league leaders and went back home with three points from a 2-0 victory.
They return on Sunday for a Continental Cup tie (League Cup) and the match gives the Charlton women a chance to take some swift revenge. That league defeat brought to an end a disappointing month in which our women lost three games and drew one. November, however, has brought a change of fortune with two fine away wins at Durham and Crystal Palace. They now sit in fourth place just four points off the top.
Bristol City have only played once this month and their home defeat by Birmingham meant that they lost the top spot to London City Lionesses. They have a mean defence (three conceded in eight games) but Charlton have a prolific attack (18 scored in nine games).
