Charlton are joining forces with partners to encourage players, staff and supporters to make more environmentally-friendly decisions this weekend.
Among many other initiatives ahead of Saturday’s Greener Game there will be an organised walk from Dial Arch Square in Woolwich to The Valley which aims to encourage local supporters to reduce their emissions by promoting a more sustainable way to attend the match.
Following the club’s debut into the Pledgeball League last season, Charlton are delighted to announce that Pledgeball are back for the men's first-team's Greener Game against Sheffield Wednesday at The Valley on Saturday, February 25th.

Pledgeball gives supporters the platform to take a stand on sustainability. Fans can show support for the Addicks by making a pledge to take actions that can make a real difference to protect where we play, help us climb the Pledgeball League table and will often have the benefit of saving money and reducing costs as well.
The idea is simple: the group of fans who have pledged to save the most carbon emissions by midnight on matchday will see their club win the Pledgeball fixture and climb the league table. The more fixtures you pledge in support of Charlton, the more times you’re entered into the prize draw.
