Wednesday evening's 1-0 victory over Lewes means that Charlton Women can overtake second place London City Lionesses with a win in the crunch local derby at Dartford FC on Sunday.

The women will need all the support they can get as they set out to avenge the 3-4 defeat they suffered to London City at The Oakwood back in August. Although the Lionesses beat league leaders Bristol City 2-0 on March 19th they were surprisingly turned over 0-3 at Durham last time out and lost at home to Sheffield United at the beginning of the month.

A win on Sunday followed by three points at home to Durham on April 16th would set the team up nicely for their trip to leaders Bristol City (Ashton Gate) on April 23rd.
