There will be a special edition of My Only Desire (MODmag) fanzine produced next month to celebrate the 25th anniversary of that glorious Wembley day in 1998. CAST is editing a double page celebrating family and friends who were at the game but are no longer with us. Thank you to those who have already sent a contribution.

"Mick French had been a loyal fan since the 1960s and he was so excited about the Sunderland game that he was wide awake pacing round the house at 4am on match day. He couldn't wait for kick off but, when it went to penalties, he just wanted it all to end. He described it as one of the best days of his life and it was very poignant that he died just three months before the 2019 rematch"
