Bob Munro joins the CAST board

Bob Munro was elected to the CAST board at the AGM on 12th November. We very much look forward to working with him.

Bob was born in Woolwich and went to his first game at The Valley at the age of seven in 1964. He has been exiled in Cheshire for the last 17 years but is still a season ticket holder along with his two sons and they get to The Valley whenever possible.

He worked in the gambling industry most of his career and is currently Group Chief Human Resources Officer (soon to retire) for bet365 Group, which includes responsibility for Stoke City Football Club - so an inside track on the running of a professional football club.

Favourite Valley memories - promotion against Preston in 1975, Sir Bobby Robson presenting the Championship trophy, and the play-off semi-final against Doncaster in 2019 - the best atmosphere he has ever experienced at our beloved Valley.
