The Addicks welcome relegation threatened Blackburn Rovers to The Valley this Sunday (12pm kick-off) on the back of successive wins.
Before last week's run out against Sheffield United Charlton's strike force was bolstered with the signing of Emma Bissell on an 18 month contract from West Ham. She was straight into the action and was unlucky not to score on debut, but Charlotte Newsham was on hand to tuck away the rebound of her near post shot. Ellie Brazil and a Blade's own goal completed the scoring in what was a comfortable victory.
Blackburn Rovers will be far from a pushover, with the Lancashire side coming off the back of a 1-1 draw with Sunderland and a run of form which has seen only one defeat in their last five matches. If the Addicks want a chance at promotion this is the middle of a run of three must win matches against relegation-threatened sides.
It is unclear whether Karen Hills will look to bolster her squad before the transfer window slams shut at 11pm on 30th January although it is worth noting that deals are often announced days later.
The match is the annual football v homophobia game and there will be plenty of activity and celebration before the game itself. Full details here:
