Club opens sensory room

The club have announced the opening of a sensory room in the Alan Curbishley Stand.

The room is free of charge for the supporter with Special Educational Needs (SEN), with tickets for the carer priced at £20.

After using the Sensory Room, Charlton fan Jed said: “The box was organised brilliantly with so much consideration for my son Louie’s autism spectrum disorder (ASD) needs. Taking him to any kind of sporting event is often difficult due to the length of time he has to sit still and the noise. The box gave us as a family the chance to enjoy the game without any anxiety and take breaks when needed. To be able to include Louie in this family day out at The Valley was amazing. My two children can’t wait to return for another game in the near future.”
