Back the Addicks against Birmingham

Men’s season ticket holders can get free entry to this Sunday's crucial Charlton Athletic Women's fixture against Birmingham City, which kicks off at 2pm.

The Addicks promotion hopes are still alive and a victory against this weekend's table topping visitors would boost them no end.

Karen Hills’s side battled to a 1-1 draw away to Bristol City last weekend, backed by fans travelling on the CAST coach. The travelling fans were treated to Katie Bradley’s 25 yard strike that earned a well deserved draw. Birmingham and London City Lionesses both secured narrow victories, making this weekends match even more crucial.

Birmingham’s last defeat was by Bristol City in January but they have won four on the spin since. The reverse fixture finished 0-0 at St Andrews but The Addicks will take heart from a frantic period towards the end of the match where Ellie Brazil had two chances to win the game. Brazil hasn’t scored in her last three appearances and will surely be wanting to fix that against The Blues.

Skipper Ellie Skeels hit 100 appearances for The Addicks last weekend while Katie Godden made a second debut following her return from the States until the end of the season. Godden again Ole  Ole.

The match against Birmingham is also the clubs designated Greener Game and the club will be collecting donations of old kit in the club shop. More details can be found here: www.charltonafc.com/news/kit-donation-sundays-greener-game
