Charlton will continue their promotion charge with a trip down to Bristol City this Sunday.
The hosts have promotion ambitions of their own but have stalled in recent weeks, including a narrow loss to Newcastle in their last fixture. The Addicks are unbeaten in six league fixtures but will know all too well that their most recent loss was at the hands of The Robins in November.
Karen Hills’s side were comfortable in victory last time out, beating Blackburn Rovers 3-1 thanks to goals from Gracie Pearse, Jodie Hutton and Kayleigh Barton. Hutton’s dead ball skills were on show, with her goal coming straight from a free kick after she had provided the assist for Barton from a corner. Karen Hills will be frustrated that her side conceded in injury time to lose a clean sheet. The victory saw The Addicks jump into third place and kept hopes of promotion alive. Three points in Bristol woukd set up an intriguing home game against league leaders Birmingham on Sunday 23rd.
