The Addicks welcome Blackburn Rovers to The Valley this weekend and they will be looking to bounce back and jump up the table following last Sunday's late heartbreak.
After Katie Bradley’s coolly taken spot kick last weekend Karen Hills’s side looked destined to claim all three points in the London derby but Kosovare Asllani equalised at the death for London City Lionesses. The home side can nevertheless take a lot of heart from a performance that showed they can compete at the top of the division.
This Sunday (12 noon) sees Charlton play their game in hand against Blackburn after a frozen pitch caused a postponement earlier in the year. With no other teams playing a victory would move the Addicks up to third place, overtaking Durham. They would still be four points behind Birmingham but Birmingham still have to visit The Valley so there is still all to play for.
The visitors are in poor form having only managed one win in their last five matches. Their defence is weak and they have conceded eleven goals in those last five matches, Ellie Brazil and Katie Bradley will be licking their lips in anticipation.
