We are delighted that Jack Belton and Sam Washington-Amoah will be joining Academy Manager Tom Pell for a Q&A for CAST members on Thursday April 10th at 7pm.
Both have represented the under 18s this season and both played in the under 17 team that beat Manchester United 2-1 in the semi final of The Premier League Cup two weeks ago. Jack captained the team which qualified for the final against Spurs (which will be played on April 11th at Stevenage.) The result and performance once again underlined the extraordinary and continuing achievements of the CAFC Academy.
Tom Pell took over from Steve Avory in October last year and it will be fascinating to learn how he sees his new role and what (if any) changes he has made or is considering making.
The meeting is open to all CAST members:
- Why is our Academy so successful?
- What are the current plans for The Academy?
- Are we still pursuing Cat 1 status?
- What do the young players enjoy most about being at Charlton?
- What are their ambitions?
- Any other questions you would like to ask
