Craig New - the instigator of the Portsmouth fundraiser in memory of Norman Barker - will present CAST with a cheque for over £7000 on the pitch before the game on Monday evening.
An amazing 582 individual Portsmouth supporters contributed to a fund which has reached £7170 in the three weeks since it was launched. Craig is delighted that the funds will be used towards the installation of a permanent memorial to Norman at The Valley.
We understand that there will also be a minute's applause for Norman and for Alec Lumb, a Portsmouth fan who died at Fratton Park last January.
In the meantime CAST's fundraiser is heading towards £10,000.
