CAST is pleased to announce that on Wednesday 12th August - just ahead of the new men’s Championship season - we will be hosting an evening with Rich Cawley, Henry Winter and Ben Ransom - three writers and broadcasters who make a living from asking the questions and sharing informed opinion about football. All have agreed to turn the tables and answer Addicks fans’ questions in a live Q&A webinar (kick off 7pm). If last year’s event is anything to go by, the Q&A will be well attended, lively, informative and entertaining.
Rich Cawley – South London Sport via Substack
When it comes to what’s really going on in the training ground or in the boardroom, rumours are just rumours until Cawley confirms. No one covers more Charlton Athletic than Rich. His Substack is a must read, and the Charlton Edition of South London Sport is a must listen for Addicks
Henry Winter – Sports Writer
Henry is one of UK's most prominent football writers who has perspective and interest in both footballing and fan matters. He is formerly chief football writer for The Times and he regularly appears on BBC 5Live and Sky. He has written a number of football books and is currently working on a new one
Ben Ransom - Sky Sports Reporter
As a broadcast journalist, Ben is of course required to be informed and balanced in his coverage of the Premier League and EFL. However, Ben is an Addick. So, let’s hear it. What does he really think? What are the broadcast pundits going to be on the lookout for from us this season? What difference is West Ham coming down going to make? Ben predicted we’d finish 15th last season. Is he keeping his Addicks’ cup half full?
