The Angerstein Flyover in East Greenwich is to get a makeover with a giant (15ft) mural depicting the area through time. The mural will be commissioned by the Aldeburgh & Fearon Street Neighbourhood Watch with a grant from Greenwich Council.
The Charlton Athletic Museum has managed to get CAFC on the shortlist of themes because the club played at the Angerstein ground before the First World War. A public vote will now be held to prioritise the themes and you can register your vote below,
The Greenwich Wire describes the 15ft tall mural as a "wall of stories that will tell the tale of a part of the borough that is industrial, gritty and occasionally world-beating."
