Is Financial Fair Play descending into farce

The Mail is reporting an expected £80m loss for 2012-13 with any  loss this season that breaches FFP fined and donated to charity rather than divided between other clubs

The article states Rangers would pay if promoted while in breach at £1 per £1 of  their losses over the FFP limit. The paper expects QPR to post losses around a shattering £80million despite the benefits of  Premier League money last year.

The suggestion that QPR will again make huge losses this season not only makes a mockery of the principles of Financial Fair Play suggesting that rich clubs can merely shrug off the penalties, but further twists the knife in denying other clubs the reward of receiving a share of the fine.
