Shirt No 3 was a clear winner of our mini poll

We guessed what might be available for the Addicks new home shirt under the Nike deal which sees a new shirt each year in our Kit Speculator article.

The winner is conservative or some might say traditional, but of course from a fairly limited Choice.

With Charlton due to reveal the new shirt today it will be interesting to see if we hit the jackpot or not with any of our selection. (update - new kit here)

Our 'quick tally' put them in the below order

1st place: shirt 3 with 23 votes

2nd joint: shirt 1 (white chest) and 4 (vertical stripe) both with 5 votes

3rd: shirt 5

4th: shirt 2

Charlton also announced this week news of the new shirt sponsors, which for the first time will be more than one company. Greenwich University being the primary in a deal which sees them link up with the local club on various levels. The deal has been mentioned as being among the best in the division and is believed to be worth in excess of 3/4 million quid. Also continuing their relationship with Charlton is local firm Andrews bringing up the rear, and Mitsubushi Electrics also playing a supporting role.
