Network Round -up; Sint-Truiden on a roll

Here are the results for the weekend 23 November:

Standard de Liege, Belgium

Jupiler Pro (1st) League

KV Oostende- Standard: 3-2. Att: 6,631

Standard’s winning streak came to a shuddering halt, and they will be especially disappointed since Oostende suffered a red card on 37 minutes, just after Standard had levelled things up. They are now 7th, just outside the play-off zone, and do have a game in hand.

Agrupación Deportiva Alcorcón, Spain

Segunda (2nd) Division

Alcorcon - Lugo 1-0 Att. 2,347

Alcorcon are 9th, one point behind real Betis in 6th place. Thanks to @CharltonMadrid on CL for the ‘real’ attendance figure (Soccerway says 3,000). Apparently it was the lowest in the division this weekend

Újpest FC, Hungary

NB 1 (1st Division)

Kecskemeti TE- Ujpest: 2-0. Att. 1,525

Hmm. Two own goals. Check the betting patterns, somebody ☺ Loic Nego came on at half time. Ujpest are 7th

Sint - Truidense VV, Belgium

Belgian Division 2

Lommel United - STVV: 0-1. Att. 6,000

STVV are roaring away, 5 points clear at the top, after this 8th win on the bounce. Who got the winner? Why, Polish Pete of course.

FC Carl Zeiss Jena, Germany

Regionalliga Nordost

Budissa Bautzen -Jena: 0-1. Att. 950

Jena are 4th, but 8 points behind leaders Nordhausen, and only one team is promoted. And in 2nd and 3rd place are “fallen giants” Zwickau and Magdeburg
