The Charlton fanzine My Only Desire (popularly known as MODMag) won the Football Supporters Association Fanzine of the Year 2022 award at the FSA annual awards ceremony last night.
MODMag beat off Dogma (Brighton and Hove Albion), The City Gent (Bradford City), Trevor Francis Tracksuits (Nottingham Forest), United We Stand (Manchester United) and YBR! (Watford) to scoop first prize.
The accolade comes just weeks after CAST announced a sponsorship partnership with MODmag:

The next edition of My Only Desire is planned for early December. It should be available to buy outside the ground on certain home match days, as well as being on sale at The Charlton Athletic Museum and in some pubs in SE7.
The previous edition (7) features exclusive interviews with ex-Addicks Danny Mills and Lawrie Wilson as well as a host of other articles. There are features on club chants, the Community Trust, ticket prices, Paolo Di Canio and that whole NFT club shorts sponsor debacle. There’s even a chat with South London Press journo and all-round South East London football guru Richard Cawley. And plenty more besides.
You can purchase issue #7 online from https://www.modmag.co.uk/#YxLnMs for £4 per copy. Annual subscriptions can be bought for £16.
If you’d like to see what you’ve missed from the first six editions - if indeed you have missed it - back issues of editions 2-6 are currently on sale from the website at half price.
The MODmag team have also recently launched a monthly podcast. The first three episodes of which feature interviews with club legends Paul Mortimer, Steve Brown and Peter Varney and are available to listen to now from wherever you get your podcasts.
