And on the clubs website today
Ideality Web who also provide the website CAStrust.org free of charge, were easily persuaded to give up yet more of their time and expertise to put the site together for Valley Gold (which previously resided within CAFC.co.uk's pages)
Barnie Razzell CAS Trust Chairman said:
"We feel privileged to be able to help and very proud that we can help Charlton Academy by saving Valley Gold money. We'd like to thank David Hall for his work for us and on this project and the opportunity to do this at 'zero' cost.
"David is a bit of an unsung hero of the Trust. Its perhaps a quirk of the internet age but I've only ever communicated with him once direct over the phone, the rest has been over email after he approached us volunteering to help the Trust with a website. We've never met in person but I can tell you he is very patient, and rarely gets fed up with my demands on his time running CASTrust.org.
"Hopefully this website will mean yet more funds for Valley Gold and we hope to work more closely with Charlton Club who run the service and offer them more voluntary expertise from the Charlton community so they can boost their subscription levels further.
"We are fully committed to helping the Grass Roots of this football club when and where we can, and that includes not only Valley Gold, but also the various supporters branches with e-marketing and other technical support and publicity via our fans diary should they need it.
"This along with the Valley Asset of Community Value campaign, and this weeks announcement on Fill the Valley, and other things may we hope show fans the value a supporters' trust can bring, and hopefully perhaps also why we should all support it, not just by joining it, but also by joining in!"
